eParking.rw is Rwanda’s official smart parking management system, aimed at modernizing and streamlining urban parking across the country. Developed in collaboration with the City of Kigali and other urban authorities, the platform provides a centralized and digital solution for both public and private parking management. It enhances convenience, efficiency, and transparency in how parking is accessed, paid for, and monitored.

One of the core features of eParking.rw is its real-time parking availability system. Through its intuitive interface, users can view available parking spaces across supported zones, reducing the time and fuel wasted searching for a spot. This not only improves user convenience but also contributes to a more sustainable urban environment by reducing traffic congestion caused by vehicles circling for parking.

The platform is integrated with mobile money and bank payment systems, allowing users to pay for their parking securely and instantly. Whether through MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or bank cards, drivers can easily initiate and confirm parking sessions without needing physical tickets or interaction with parking attendants. This cashless model is a significant step toward digital transformation in Rwanda's public services.

Another powerful feature of eParking.rw is remote parking session management. Users can start, extend, or stop their parking sessions directly from their smartphones. The platform sends timely notifications when a session is about to expire, giving users the option to extend it without having to return to their vehicles. This level of control greatly improves user satisfaction and minimizes fines due to expired parking time.

For business owners and authorities, eParking.rw provides analytics and reporting tools that help monitor usage, generate revenue reports, and assess performance. This data-driven approach enables better decision-making and enhances the overall management of urban spaces. Additionally, the platform supports parking enforcement by allowing authorized officers to verify vehicle compliance digitally.
